ROOTED IN THE WAY WE LIVE

Home is more than
what’s inside.

It’s the porch conversation that goes a little longer. The table with room for one more. The familiar view at the end of the day.

Outdoor Living of America is built around a simple idea: make those everyday spaces more useful, comfortable, and inviting.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you begin.

Can I screen an existing porch instead of building a new room?

Often, an existing covered space is a starting point for a screen frame-in. Its roof, framing, attachment surfaces, and foundation need review before a scope can be confirmed.

How do I choose between a patio cover and a retractable awning?

A patio cover provides permanent overhead coverage. A retractable awning lets you extend shade and reopen the sky. Mounting conditions, weather exposure, and the way you use the space help determine the better fit.

Can I combine multiple products?

Yes. A deck or patio can be planned together with overhead cover or screening. Coordinating the layout early helps resolve posts, drainage, access, and future attachment needs.

What determines the project price?

Dimensions, product selections, site preparation, access, structural work, electrical work, engineering, and approvals can all affect the scope. A useful proposal separates what is included from options and exclusions.

Will I need a permit or HOA approval?

Requirements depend on the project and property. The planning process should identify applicable permit, engineering, setback, and community review needs before installation is scheduled.

Where is service available?

OLA is being developed with an East Tennessee focus. Share your project ZIP code to confirm current coverage, product availability, and scheduling.
